Kulturpark am Straussee: relaxed excursion destination in Strausberg
The Kulturpark am Straussee is located on the city side of the Straussee and borders directly on Strausberg’s old town. It is a wonderful place to combine an excursion with a walk along the water and a detour into the historic alleyways. Particularly pleasant: the park is green, open and not “overbuilt” – ideal if you just want to get out and about without having to plan for a long time.
There is a large sunbathing lawn on site, which is perfect for a break. There are also leisure facilities such as a beach volleyball court and a diving center – making the Kulturpark am Straussee perfect for both a relaxing afternoon and a more active day at the lake.
